The Bard and Raven Series

Book 1: A Conspiracy of Ravens is a 195,000 word fantasy novel set in a modern realization of the Irish Otherworld.

Four thousand years ago a species from another dimension visited Earth's Celtic lands. While in many ways human-like, they were said to be mystical warriors, possessed of powers and technology beyond the experience of our kind. Called the Sídhe by the Irish people, they were the distant inspiration behind our stories of elf or faerie. The ruins they left in Ireland stand to this day, but the Sídhe themselves are nowhere to be found, retreated back to their own world.

In that other world, a place of legends and fantastic technology, a music student and a young woman gifted with a forgotten power become entangled in a millennia-old plot that transcends the evils of grasping politicians. An unlikely hero will learn to reach beyond the illusion of reality to fight for an unsuspecting civilization.
